This representation strategy, which describes the new states of reality in Gülay Yaşayanlar; It relies on an abstractionist language practice that is reactive to narrative codes and a radical reduction. The imagination realized here includes our fears and anxieties that are the product of new bad days. This emotional burden is reflected in these forms, which are the product of the idea of abstract construction through rational transfer. Therefore, in the works of Gülay Yaşayanlar, there is a strong transference that transforms the cultural content produced by the strange period we live in into images.

In Gülay Yaşayanlar's approach, it can be seen that the reactive expression, which is constantly being replaced by a more purified, idealized form and relatively more conceptual expression, has begun to take its place. The basic dynamics of this understanding have not changed, but a production focusing on the reality of painting discussing the possibilities of visual language has been given priority. Thus, it is possible to describe this conceptual concept of visual field, which is established with a panoramic view on the horizontal axis, as the mature productions of a distinctive process with palimpsestic accents.
